MAGNOLIA STORY
James and Donna Brantley are the owners of Magnolia Inspections. They began the business in 2006. Their ambition was to create a home inspection company that offered a wide variety of services. More importantly, a service that could be counted on for providing valuable information so clients can be positioned to make sound decisions. James and Donna both know the significance of quality, service and professionalism. Every inspection is just as important as the last. They remind themselves and the Magnolia team of how every detail matters. As a company…good enough never is.
They constantly look for ways to improve whether it is scheduling, report writing, the inspection standards, or communication with the clients. James and Donna are committed to ensuring clients have a positive, interactive and educational experience…not just an inspection.
The company strives to provide technical information and advice so clients can be positioned to make sound decisions for their families or businesses. In addition to being a Certified Professional Inspector, James has numerous credentials that establish him as a local technical subject matter expert. He and the company’s Inspector Manager personally trains each Magnolia inspector so they will deliver the best service possible.

James Brantley
Owner / Licensed Inspector
James decided to be a home Inspector for two reasons: an interest in his community and his relentless passion to help others realize their dream to become homeowners. Knowing that a home is typically a person’s most expensive purchase, James decided providing people the peace of mind that comes from a solid home inspection was his true calling! James received his home inspection training through one of the nation’s most highly regarded companies, American Home Inspectors Training Institute (AHIT). He is also an associate member of the International Association of Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). James also has the following credentials:

Client Care Coordinator
Donna assists with client relations and scheduling. She’s been married to James since 1994. They have two cocker spaniels, Annie and Charlie, that Donna chases around the house and dotes on constantly! She shares James’s passion for helping people. For Donna, our team isn’t just a team, it’s a family.
Rebekah Welch
Client Care Coordinator
Rebekah joined our team in November 2021. She is a Client Care Coordinator specializing in scheduling and client relations. Rebekah is very detail-oriented and has never met a spreadsheet she couldn’t improve! Rebekah is a devoted wife and mother of three. She is dedicated, hard-working, and always willing to go the extra mile. Rebekah strives to ensure that she provides the very best service for each client she interacts with.
Cooper Kelly

My name is Cooper Kelly, and I am new to the Magnolia Inspection team, but not new to inspecting homes. With years of experience in customer service and in the home inspection industry, I am here to provide the experience and quality service that many home buyers need during one of the biggest purchases of their lives. I am an AHIT graduate and InterNACHI certified professional inspector ready to serve you with a smile and provide you with a professional report. As a native to the central Mississippi area, I want nothing more than to serve my community in an impactful and meaningful way. As such I became a home inspector to do just that, now I have the pleasure of helping navigate my fellow Mississippians through a portion of the home buying process. Brad Barbee
Licensed Home Inspector
Brad Barbee joined the Magnolia Inspections team in April of 2021. He has 15 years of experience in customer service and management. Brad attended the University of Mississippi earning his bachelor’s degree in accountancy. He prides himself on attention to detail, efficiency, as well as providing top quality service to his clients. Be sure to request Brad for your next inspection!

Adam Pilgrim
Licensed Home Inspector
Adam joined the team in November 2021. He proudly served as a Crew Chief and Mechanic on numerous aircrafts in the US Army. After completing his military service, he worked as a Plant Manager and Quality Manager for eight years. He was born and raised in Central Mississippi. Adam is married to a wonderful woman and is the loving father of three boys. It brings him great joy to provide a quality report with excellent customer service. With Adam, you not only get a job well done, you get a job well done with a smile.
